In scrolling the previous comments I see that this is a long standing issue. I'm suprised it hasn't been addressed yet. Voice input is something I use quite frequently, perhaps 50x more often than the settings key. The same probably goes for most people, especially as voice input is rapidly becoming more popular and more useful.

In fact I don't even see the need for a settings menu on the keyboard. After the initial setup it's not something most people need anymore.
