        I really loved to see chinese language keyboard. I had to switch to default keyboard to type chinese word.

        Chinese + Japanese = nearly 2 billion speakers.

        I just installed Swype keyboard on android because I was tired of switching between SwiftKey keyboard and Japanese google keyboard. Although I really liked SwiftKey keyboard interface and everything, I had to move on. I hope you will add Japanese soon to your available languages.

        Nothing would make me happier than to be able to go all in with just SwiftKey. It is fantastic as keyboard software, and adding Japanese support would make it complete for me.

        You can switch between up to three languages, make sure you've got them downloaded

        No, really,..... Javanese? You've apparently found a huge Javanese market .... a market bigger than the Japanese market!? Seriously?

        I definitely have some concerns about you guys.

        When you release Japanese support, make sure you actively market Swiftkey towards the Japanese, their mobile input methods are terribly inefficient and they're only gotten quick at using them out of sheer necessity to do so. Swiftkey will be a 大ヒット, as they say.

        Still, almost 2yrs later, no Japanese support. I've been in the smart phone industry here in japan since their debut, I've seen how fast the japanese have embraced smartphones, especially Android. It boggles my mind why a developer would ignore the mountains of money to be made by selling to the japanese. Android is on 90% of smart devices here, many are Japan market only.

        How long do you need to release Japanese? How long is it already in development? No Japanese is a real letdown and swiftkey eventuell costs 2$

        Please, please can you support Japanese soon. There are many android users here in Japan. To be honest, I'm a little shocked that Japanese isn't one of the 60 languages you support. I really loved your keyboard, but unfortunately I had change to "Smart keyboard Pro" because they support Japanese (I use both languages equally, my wife only uses Japanese).

        I got swiftkey today and noticed there was no Japanese support... huge letdown.. I do have confidence in you guys so I won't ask for a refund.

        Even a beta regular Japanese without prediction would be a good start.

        The idea was "shared" a year and a half ago? And?

        As great as the app itself may be, this is way too long to add one language for a mobile keyboard.

        Things like Google search and more have converting built in, so this would even be enormously useful on it's own.
