English (AU): Currency should default to $
At the moment it displays £ instead. Australia, New Zealand and other countries use UK English with $.
English (au) layout has euro symbol as long press key but not dollar sign. Australians use dollars. replace the euro symbol with the dollar symbol.
In Australia we use $ not £.
Could you please update and make the $ the default value for English (AU) not £ as it is really annoying.
I know Australian English is the same as English (UK) but we use $ and everything is metric in Australia.
Agree. There are two pound keys surely one could be a dollar. I voted

I don't know why more Aussies aren't voting for this one.
I know it's only a workaround, but a long press on the X key brings up a currency key. Just sharing because I just found it :)

Come on SwiftKey! Surely it's not that hard!
Sorry, just realised the problem was caused by my system language settings, not from using the English (AU) dictionary
Would be great if this could be addressed. Australia has the 2nd highest smart phone usage rate in the world (behind Singapore) so hopefully we get noticed.
