It's not the speed. It's just being uniformed w other keyboards. Shift is standard among Korean keyboards not long press.

Long press change is more faster and convenient than using shift key.
Double tap > Long press > shift key -

I've been trying out Swiftkey flow beta for a couple of days now and it seems like you guys nailed it.
Shift key's added, the long-press options are still there, and the key positions are consistent with the English keyboard. Thanks for the great work!

Really needs this fixed. It's very annoying not having this feature. Actually more like impossible to use.
Please fix this ASAP -

1. Shift key!
2. Same layout as the English keyboard. I switch between English and Korean a lot, and get a lot of typos because the keys are not in the same position.Hope you guys can make these changes soon!

As I posted a new idea, we don't really need a shift key. When I first found that there is no shift key, I complained. However, if you hold ㅂㅈㄷ... keys, you can type ㅃㅉㄸ... much faster than moving your finger for shift key and coming back for typing again. Just make holding duration shorter.
All this is possible because, unlike other keyboards, numbers are not on this row.

Just testing and I love this. But shift key is almost essential in Korean. It's just different from french alphabets with accents or english with capitals. Of course you can get used to it but lack of shift key speeds down so much. Really hope it gets better.

TOTALLY AGREE about this topic. I(maybe 'We') need Shift key for fast Korean typing.
