Disable "space-after-period". This is especially annoying when entering data (5. 2, etc..)
Make the space-after-period optional or intelligent...
SwiiftKey now does not add a space after a period when you are typing numbers.
If you are typing an email address, once you type at @ symbol SwiftKey will no longer autocorrect or add spaces.
If you type www. SwiftKey will also not correct or add spaces.

My user ID for work and Internet banking has periods in it and it is a pain to backspace.
Also, every other device does not do this therefore everyone is so use to placing a space after the period that the automatic space stuffs up more often then not.
Correct English has two spaces after the period whereas this keyboard places random predictive text when you type period space.

I'm disappointed this still isn't fixed. My email address has periods in it and this infuriates me every time I try to type it in.

Bah, i came here looking for a way to fix this & see that there's four pages of complaints and no acknowledgement that is' tan actual problem.
It's a problem - all we need is an option to disable it....sheeesh.

So, are you going to make it optional for us? After all this comments, I think you should.

unfortunately this does nothing to help swiftkey adding spaces after periods in email addesses that include periods like firstname.mi.lastname. the only way im even able to post this is with NOT using swiftkey.

This shouldn't be listed as an idea. I call this a blocking bug! All the prediction stuff never works anyway, so why force it?

Hi Sarah, thanks for meeting users half way - but please go the whole hog and add an option to disable auto insertion of spaces after non alphabetical characters. This is obviously still a major gripe with your user base. Keep up the good work.

Fully agree with these comments. Same issue with spaces after a hyphen. Switching to another keyboard and leaving a low rating. Hope this gets fixed.

I have two periods in my email address before the @. After typing the first period SwiftKey inserts a space after the period. I delete it but when I enter the second period SwiftKey reinsert the space after the first period. This is so annoying I have to turn off SwiftKey as my default keyboard. Please just give us a option to turn off auto insertion of spaces!!!!

Please remove space after period, or at least an option to turn it off!

Yep, my email address has dots between words and it's a pain in the ass to remember to delete those spaces after dots.

It's not only for numbers. I always have to use backspace to remove the space after the last period. I'd rather that the space be added when I type the next letter, not immediately after hitting period.

I would love for the period . to not left-align to the word if I type a number after it! I try to type "measures .534" but it comes out "measures. 534". Very annoying.
