Backspace button and all normal keyboard functions simply don't work.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and your keyboard software is not working. Backspace inserts random characters and after a typing a few letters they keyboard randomly inputs a different letter. I have narrowed this problem down to your software, since other keyboards work fine. Please get back to me on why this is an issue.

I have the Samsung Galaxy 10.2 with latest version Swiftkey for tablet and am experiencing exactly the same problems particularly with Polaris. Also unable to use with Google Drive as lag makes it unworkable. I can see from posts that this prob has been reported since at least 2012. Why is it still not working? I have to revert back to stock keyboard which works fine.

It seems to work fine for some applications but not at all for others. I hope this information helps. Applications that don't work for me include: Polaris Office 3.0, Google Drive, and other word processing applications. The issue doesn't present itself with Facebook, Twitter, Facebook or the stock Android browser.
