  Backspace key now repeats the last word or text instead of deleting. Very annoying and time consuming. PLEASE address asap.

  This happens to me in evernote. Nexus 7. Incredibly annoying. Makes a productivity solution a productivity problem.

  I have this problem with Evernote, and probably other apps, using SwiftKey tablet version 4.0.0.106 on a Nexus 7. I think it happens when you go back to a word before the most recent one and want to change it. For example if you want to add an s to make it plural. If you just backspace to select a different prediction for the word just entered it works ok.

  For the last week, I am continuously having this problem also.....sometimes the backspace key, it will just keeping repeating the previous word or type in a row of the the same letters like "cccccccccccccc" for example. I used to absolutely love this keyboard, but this problem has been making me completely crazy...... think it's time to find another keyboard to use if they don't come up with a fix soon. I'm running across complaints from many users having this same issue. Another recent issue I've been having is with the predictive word boxes not even showing up when I'm using the keyboard - keeps happening more and more. It used to work so perfect, no longer the case..... What happened?? I used to recommend this keyboard to everyone..... but, not anymore.
