What is your SwiftKey (smartphone) bug?

SwiftKey will not load predictions or keep running.

SwiftKey tries to load predictions, fails and then closes the keyboard, rendering the phone useless for all text functions. So I'm on the laptop. I have just checked 'running applications' and swiftkey is in a restart loop. I paid for this app on Friday, on Saturday it failed. Any clues please?

If you get this issue, make sure you didn't install it to the app card like I did. Install it to your phone's memory and you will be OK.

Settings-applications-manage applications-running lookup swiftkey, then 'Clear Cache' fixed it for me

I experience this too. Its annoying as hell, I need to restore a data backup in Titanium Backup in order to fix it. Sad thing is pretty much 24 hours later it will go back to this constant 'loading predictions' and I have to rinse n repeat.

At first I thought it was trying to download new data, so I blocked internet to it in a multitude of ways (Droidwall, LBE, and even revoking the internet permissions in CM7) but none of this matters. Its something else..

Almost unusable keyboard with this glitch.

I have the same problem of jason. maybe the predictions file is corrupted? i can try unistalling, deleting data and reinstall as someone suggests, but i definitely don’t want to lose my learned word…any suggestion?

The problem I had was i could only get the standard keyboard to pop up. To change this I held down on a blank typing area (eg web address bar) and then it gave me the option to change the keyboard. This made it work

Okay after some research, now it works again.

        1. Uninstall SwiftKey and delete the directory on SD-CARD.
        2. Reboot Device.
        3. Install SwiftKey.

        All fine.

Same problem, HTC Desire. Worked around problem by changing input method, but I like swiftkey better so any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

My problem slightly differs, swiftkey gets stuck on the loading predictions message and never goes away. I've tried rebooting switching keyboards and returning. three problems never is resolved.
