2. Bug reports
Firstly please make sure that you are running the most up-to-date version of SwiftKey – currently 4.1.3. You can find this by pressing and holding the bottom-left key on the keyboard, choosing Settings, and tapping “About”. If you have feedback regarding a Beta version of SwiftKey please go to our VIP Community at http://vip.swiftkey.net
Add comments and details to the thread about your bug, or post a new topic if your bug is not yet mentioned. This will help us to understand and fix the issue. Details such as the version of Android you are running, the model number of your phone, and what versions of what apps are affected, will help us to track down the bugs more quickly.
Also, please list only one bug per thread. Thanks very much.

Samsung Galaxy S4 lag when Swiftkey installed
It seems that SwiftKey may be causing considerable lag in the new Samsung Galaxy S4 - even when the keyboard is not being used. The solution some are taking is to uninstall SwiftKey. See posts here

Keyboard not popping up / appearing when I try to type.
Galaxy s3 mini on jelly bean. Latest version of swiftkey 3.
The keyboard does not appear / pop up sometimes when i click / press in a field. This happens in all fields as far as i can tell (messaging, whatsapp, browser).
I have to go into settings and change the keyboard back to the stock keyboard. Use the stock keyboard for a bit, then change the default keyboard back to swiftkey and it starts working again.

Twitter 2 Step Auth has broken personalisation
Twitter has allowed us to activate a 2 step authorisation process on our accounts, this sends us a text message with a code to enter when logging into twitter on new devices, browsers etc
The current API used by Swiftkey doesn't seem to allow for us to do this process which means anyone using 2 step (which frankly we should all be!) can no longer use twitter to personalise Swiftkey.

It is very often that I find SwiftKey keyboard not writing. I type the keys but nothing is being written in the field. This is very serious
It is very often that I find SwiftKey keyboard not writing. I type the keys but nothing is being written in the field. This is very serious. Very annoying as well. You need the text for immediate conversation, we don't have time to open close the app fifteen times for it to work.

Autospace should be inserted when starting the next word
Autospace should be inserted when starting the next word not when finishing the last one. Otherwise when i am not satisfied with the prediction, i first have to hit backspace before i can pick my word of choice.

It’s come to our attention that the good people at CoPilot have been working on an update after version 9.4.0.183 which will improve compatibility with SwiftKey. This is in reference to http://forum.copilotlive.com/copilotlive/topics/predictive_text-8kfsr.
We don’t have information regarding when that update will be published. However, once you have received that update, please reply both in the related thread in our public forum and also on CoPilot’s forum to let us know if their update resolves the issue.
Thanks very much.

I solved my voice recognition problem. It started after I changed the font size to larger. I went back to normal, rebooted and the problem was solved.

Chome: Conflicts with omnibox autocomplete
I find that SwiftKey conflicts with chrome's omnibox autocomplete. It happens when the omnibox autocomplete a URL and you begin to type a string that matches that url. For example, if I want to search for "google docs" in the omnibox, the following happens:
*Begin to type "google"
*Omnibox starts to auto complete with my Google Reader address "google.com/reader/view/#overview-page"
*finish typing "google" followed by a space
*SwiftKey predicts/corrects with "Google" and the following appears in the omnibox: "Google .com/reader/view/#overview-page" with the cursor between the space and period.
* if I continue to type "docs" I get: "Google docs.com/reader/view/#overview-page"I expect…

Chrome address bar autocorrect should be disabled
Device - HTC One
Browser - Chrome, also default HTC browserAutocorrect should be disabled in chrome's address bar / omnibox as it is in the HTC browser. You end up with autocorrections that leave the Chrome prediction text at the end of the string.
For example, when searching for "amazon river"
1. Type lowercase "amazon" -- chrome auto-predicts amazon.com, while swiftkey has the 'correctly' capitalized "Amazon" as its suggestion.
2. hit Space -- switkey corrects to the capitalized Amazon plus a space, but does not remove the .com. -- your textbox turns into: "Amazon [cursor].com"
3. type river, and…6 votes -
