Amazon Swiftkey crashes / force closes / won't install
I've deleted Swiftkey 3's data about forty times now, I've reinstalled it fifty times and still it does not work on my factory reset Galaxy S3. I keep redownloading it off of Amazong Apps and it keeps giving me the same problem. Can someone please help me on this, this is the kind of issue that can make a user bald.
It has been over a month since the Amazon version of the app started force closing on fresh installs. It has also been almost a month since your admin posted stating that you know of the problem and are working on a fix. It should not be taking this long for a paid app to get fixed. Are there any updates on your progress?
SwiftKey 3 from Amazon appstore installs on the TMOUS Galaxy Note 2. Running the app or going directly to settings for the keyboard crashes: "Unfortunately, SwiftKey 3 has stopped.
After the ICS Update to my Droid Bionic, Swift Key 3 no longer works. It says: "Unfortunately, SwiftKey 3 has stopped." whenever I try and open the app. I have uninstalled it multiple times. I have even factory reset my phone and tried reinstalling it to no avail.
Additional info: I downloaded SwiftKey as the free app of the day on Amazon App store a long time ago.
It just won't work anymore.makes me mad, cus I love the app. I need help
Hab mir die Vollversion bei Amazon gekauft, es lässt sich installieren, aber nicht starten, nachdem Start stürzt es ab. Wäre schön wenn ihr nachbessert.
Swiftkey 3 TRIAL functions as intended (Setup, customization, etc) however the FULL version (paid through Amazon App Store) is able to install but unable to complete setup through Settings. Settings portion makes Swiftkey 3 FULL crash.
There is a new build on Amazon which resolves this issue. There will be an update for SwiftKey Tablet on Amazon arriving very soon as well.

This issue has been resolved. Please update to the latest version of SwiftKey that is available on Amazon.
Glad to see I am not the only on having an issue with this. Will the on from play store work?
Even after the update of the amazon app store the application still doesn't work.

It's been over 2 weeks since you promised us this update, I really miss your keyboard. Any updates on when this fix is coming?
Thanks a lot for your work.

I can validate this on Sprint Galaxy Note II
Glad I could help! Doesn't hurt to be a developer. ;)
For everyone else, workaround - see post 10/26/2012.
One would think this would be resolved by now!!!
Michael's method worked for me too! Thank you Mike :)
Got it to work by uninstalling the Swiftkey from Amazon. Installing the trial version from Google Play. Then installing SwiftKey from Amazon again (without removing the trial version). After you go through the setup with the full version from Amazon, it'll ask if you want to remove the trial - select yes to uninstall the trial. Hope this works for others!
same problem for me as well.
This is starting to be embarrassing.
This is pathetic, thanks for the "swift" action
not even a "Hey, we're still workin on it, hang in there"? sorry to sound ungrateful, just wondering if there is an update.

Good job on making a Swype clone, now fix our problem already!!!!!!!!
Just got a replacement phone (HTC Rezound) and have been going crazy because I couldn't get SwiftKey to work properly. Hope this gets resolved soon.
Droid Razr Maxx HD has the issue as of 10/25/2012
This is so bad, I started to use swift key again after seeing the SwiftKey flow announcement. But I can't even get it to install right!
