"spacebar will" is broken
Even though the spacebar is set to "always insert a prediction", it behaves just like the method "always insert a space". If I want to insert a prediction, I have to press the middle area above the keyboard. The two other inserting-methods are working as they are supposed to.
This wasn't a problem before Swiftkey 3. I am using a HTC One S with a Norwegian language and layout.
When I adjust the function of the space bar to "always insert a prediction" the key is always putting a space instead of the prediction.
When new laguage Spanish (Latinamerica) is active, space bar always insertar a space instead a predicción or completing the Word, con please fix it, thank you
I have my typing style set to Rapid, but after this last update my typing no longer auto-corrects at all for me.
Before i had the outo correct but in few min its gone whats wrong?
The spacebar and punctuation keys act like a regular computer keyboard, so even when typing at a fairly low speed, misspellings are not corrected. Destroys the functionality of the keyboard. I love swiftkey, but I'm disabling it until the next update which I sincerely hope will fix this.
Motorola Triumph running Android 2.3
Make it more axurrate!
No me aparece la correccion de las palabras
Ni spwll check .want to delete a p becaiae of rhis .
This only occured after the latest swiftkey update.
When I type in Hebrew, sometimes the prediction shows the word I mean, but the main prediction (middle suggestion) is a different word, similar to the one I meant.
When I hit space, Swiftkey automatically changes what I wrote to the main suggestion word, even though the word I typed seems to be in the vocabulary as well.
In settings, I chose spacebar to "complete current word", and I thought it would "guess" for me only if the typed word is not in the vocabulary/prediction list. But if the word is the second-prediction word, it's just changes my word to to main prediction word.
This is, of course, undesired behavior that caused me to use spacebar as space only.
Since last upgrade , the space bar does not insert the predicted word .. Also punctuation is offset unless I backspace . Much less user friendly
This is the third time the app has done this since the update to 3. After a few days, it will stop completing words when I hit the space bar (I've triple-checked the settings and nothing has changed), it will not automatically add a space when any punctuation is inserted, and the only way I've found to overcome these issues is to un-install, then re-install the app. I've had to do that at least three times now, and there seems to be no apparent reason why it stops following the settings. I've tried disabling then re-enabling, as well as turning the affected settings to another and then back again, and neither works. I'm using an HTC Legend.
No matter what mistakes i make, swiftkey 3 makes no effort to autocorrect any mistakes, unless i choose a suggestion
My word prediction and auto correction are not showing up or workig and i have it turned on.
I don't know what happened in the last update, but now my spacebar is no longer inserting the middle prediction, and I have it set to always insert the prediction in the settings.
I have the option in the settings saying that it should auto-complete if I click space during a word, but it does not do that. Running Samsung Captivate.
Hi everyone, we are looking into this problem, and we apologise for the inconvenience as we understand that it is very frustrating.
If you have any details that might help us to pin it down, please post them here as a comment and we will see them.
For me the spacebar inserts the predicted text but when I press the predicted text it doesn't do anything now.

I am having a problem with the space bar always inserting a period, despite me having it set to "always insert a space" checked in the settings. Why is this happening?

The problem also exists in v126.96.36.199 on Galaxy S running CyanogenMod 10.1.2 for Afrikaans language.
This is also broken for me when using the Korean module. English works fine.

Still a problem for me as well. Using SwiftKey 4.0, English, Samsung Galaxy S II.
In addition to forgetting spacebar settings, Swiftkey also forgets that I have on Rapid typing style and will stop autocorrecting my typing.

Same problem over here!! (Galaxy S3)
I noticed this happens with the Spanish-Latinoamérica Beta version, but doesnt happen with Spanish-Spain module, which is not beta.
use the Spanish (Spain) language.. it works.. usa el español de España, ese si sirve bien, hace las predicciones como es y la verdad es que sigue siendo el mismo idioma después de todo
This problem happened to me when using the Latin American Spanish module, which happens to be in beta. I switched to Spanish (Spain) and the problem is gone.
