I have started to use a Hand writing Note application called FreeNote that allows you to enter text by either using the keyboard or writing on the screen. However, when my keyboard is set to Swiftkey, whenever I delete some text in this app it changes the word (or icon) immediately to the left to [Obj]. The Stock Android keyboard app and another one that I use do not have this problem.

I wrote to the developer and he responded that this is probably because SwiftKey does not handle "spannablestring" which FreeNote uses.

Is it possible to fix this? - as I use FreeNote dozens of times each day and having to change the keyboard each time I go into it is a nuisance.
