Firstly please make sure that you are running the most up-to-date version of SwiftKey – currently 4.1. You can find this by pressing and holding the bottom-left key on the keyboard, choosing Settings, and tapping “About”. If you have feedback regarding a Beta version of SwiftKey please go to our VIP Community at http://vip.swiftkey.net
Add comments and details to the thread about your bug, or post a new topic if your bug is not yet mentioned. This will help us to understand and fix the issue.

Hi all, Swiftkey dev again.
This bug is really hard to diagnose, but assuming it is a problem with the backup service, could you try stopping the Google Backup Transport? You can find it under Settings → Apps → All. Just force stop it and see if it has any effect. Thanks for your patience on this. -
Nothing is written
Sometimes when I type on the keyboard, nothing is written. This is true with any application (GO SMS, Gmail ...).
I have to close the application and restart if I want the
keyboard works again.For your information, my phone is a Wiko Cink Slim, and I'm running on Android 4.0.4.

Switches vibrations
When I type on my new HTC One X via your keyboard the vibration Switches between hard and soft vibrations, I'm not the only one with this issue and it's kind of annoying, hope you can fix this soon.

My SwiftKey isn't so swift anymore
Why the recent update I find that the keyboard lags significantly and chooses wrong words because it's almost as if it was not picking up all of my typing. I have the new swype give off and haven't changed anything else. Help!

Faint Flow Line on Custom ROM
The Flow line is very faint on some custom ROMs. Kii Keyboard, Swype, and the stock keyboard all have visible flow lines. Swiftkey is the odd ball out. This has been reported by several users but has never been officially addressed.

keyboard appears/freezes on homescreen; generally quite unresponsive after last update

Since the last update of your software, the swiftkey x keyboard has become highly unreliable, even up to the point of making me switch back to my standard phone keyboard (htc sense 2.1) - for now only, i surely hope, since it's not a perfect match for your truly - almost perfect -typing solution.

Keyboard Freezes While Up
Example: I'm writing a text to a friend and all is well, but then I send it and try to back out of the app. The keyboard never closes (i.e. goes back down, off the screen, etc.) and I'm unable to type on it or get it to do anything. Since it takes up 50%+ of my phone's screen I can't go into any settings to force close it and I have to reboot EVERY TIME. lag on Droid RAZR
On Droid RAZR, you can't type quickly. The keys on the keyboard recognize and highlight, but quick typing doesn't work. Keys get missed. Didn't Have this issue on my droid x.

on droid 2 the alt lock does not work / altlock
the alt lock on the droid 2 hard keyboard no longer works with swiftkey. I have to use alt before each number, inputting longer numbers is much more difficult.

SPAN_EXCLUSIVE_EXCLUSIVE spans cannot have a zero length
Perhaps it isn't a problem at all, but after upgrading to Android 4.1.1 I'm seeing a lot of errors in the logs like this one.

Voice to text not working over bluetooth
I have a Galaxy S3 that recently received the Jelly Bean update. The speech to text function no longer works when I am connected to bluetooth. Google Now and SVoice both seem to work fine. Its only the speech to text button in SwiftKey and only when I am using bluetooth. The mic icon just stays black and doesn't respond to anything I say. It works fine when not connected to bluetooth but, given that SVoice and Google Now function without a problem when I'm using the bluetooth mic on my car stereo, I don't think the problem is with…

We have managed to reproduce this issue. However, the stock Samsung keyboard exhibits exactly the same problem, which suggests that it is either Samsung or Google’s problem and not ours.
It seems that the bluetooth/Google Voice interaction is problematic in general on 4.1.1. For example, see this thread: https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/790643
The good news is that this workaround seems to work perfectly:
“If you go into Settings > Bluetooth > select device and then disable “Connect to Media” you will be able to use your bluetooth headset to voice to text again. The downside is you will no longer be able to hear other sounds like music, podcasts, vids etc."

SwiftKey will not load predictions or keep running.
SwiftKey tries to load predictions, fails and then closes the keyboard, rendering the phone useless for all text functions. So I'm on the laptop. I have just checked 'running applications' and swiftkey is in a restart loop. I paid for this app on Friday, on Saturday it failed. Any clues please?

unable to reinstall / error unknown -24
Since a full reinstall of Android 4.1.1 on my Galaxy Nexus I can't reinstall Swiftkey on it.
Each time I tried I got the message that the installation cannot be performed and return an unknown error code -24
I tried to after having cleared data and cache of google play store and google framework services app. Same issue.Is this a known bug (I found nothing about it) ? Is there a workaround ?

LG Revolution, when using email (G-mail), has always been very buggy. When I backspace, it inserts 3 xxx's over & over. Frustrating!
Backspacing in email causes xxx's to take over. I backspace and get 3 xxx's, then I try to backspace them and get 3 more xxx's, etc, etc, etc... Just have to close email.

Pin unlock keypad
When using pin unlock method, the keypad used to type in the pin is not very good, well see the screenshots comparing it to the sense+ keypad.
