i just upgraded my phone (sony ericson x10) to android 2.3, and now the keyboard is not working anymore.

When you use SwiftKey 3 (Android 4.0.4) with one of the most popular SMS apps, then the SMS app crashes when you try to add an emoji from the SMS app.
When I switch to the normal Android keyboard, then the app doesn't crash.
The problem is coming from SwiftKey. I guess it's because SwitfKey doesn't support some unicodes and creates this problem.

BTW, my Android is in French, as well as my Switfey keyboard.

Please fix it ASAP

Sometimes, can not close the keyboard, then stay open 20 or 25 seconds, and the phone is blocked till the keyboard disappear.

After reboot/power down - When I want to type something, the keyboard appears but the suggestions don't (the three rectangles appear, but are empty). To make them appear I've discovered a workaround: I long press one of the rectangles (where normally would appear a suggestion) and it force closes (I press 'OK' on the FC dialog). I wait some seconds until it restarts (after FC, the keyboard disappears and then reappears) and there I have it, my beloved suggestions.

Samsung Galaxy S (GT-I9000) @ CM10.1

After updating my personalisation settings with the latest version (as of 9/6/11), SwiftKey will constantly crash after typing the first letter. Clearing settings fixed the issue, but using personalisation via any service replicates the issue. Restarting the phone was of no use. Cursor and arrow appear to be misaligned now by 20 characters. I've been enjoying SwiftKey 3 so far! I've noticed that my version of SwiftKey 3 crashes every time I paste emoji Unicode 6 text (that iOS uses, so I can read in Android-- in this case via the Emoji Codec Application) into a text box and then switch to the keyboard (SwiftKey 3 selected) to further edit text. This problem does not occur when I use the standard Android keyboard so I believe the issue may be caused by your application.

I'm running SwiftKey3 in gingerbread via my Sony Xperia U.

Not only is typing is very slow but it takes longer and longer for the letters to appear, then eventually the letters don't appear and the keyboard freezes.

Even when leaving messaging mode, the keyboard stays visible and I have to kill it or restart the phone.

I've been forced to revert to using the v3 beta.

After you complete whichever you were writing and need to make the keyboard disappear, by clicking outside the text field or the back button, the app FC. It also does it during writing long paragraphs like this one.. (crashed 4 times while I was writing this one...) please fix..

Buttons keep slowing down major delay and like freezes during typing. Force closes.

The please fix for galaxy S3. The keyboard will force close, freeze phone and won't engage or show when trying to type in text field. Half the time auto correct makes more mistakes then useful. Auto prodict glitches and messes up constantly

Install process message appears every time keyboard opens. When trying to go to settings, swift key shuts down. Downloaded latest swiftkey version as of October 25 running on a Motorola Bionic, android 4.04

Galaxy S2 ICS 4.0.3 when Swiftkey is used as primary Kbd, the phone freezes and keeps on rebooting again, and again. Started to work very fine but as I use Swiftkey more and more, may Galaxy started to be slow and slower and sometimes freeze and now, it's rebooting even when not in use. Swiftkey disabled, everything returns to normal. Very frustrating ! (Paid version)

Samsung galaxy s3 - It keeps crashing, most often in tumblr but that is the app I use the most. Also the suggestions bar doesnt show up half the time in the broswer and multiple other apps.

Sometimes when I am typing, the keyboard will disappear and I have to change back to my default keyboard and then back after a while to get it to work again. When my phone doesnt give me an error message or anything either.it doesnt matter what key I press,its not always the same.

On newest version 2 software, (Beta and Official) and on the Samsung Infuse 4G, when you go to advanced->Spacebar will... when choosing "always insert a space" you get Instant Force Close. (Does not happen on version 1)

Swift key force closing when I try to use it on my GS3! Please help the default keyboard is terrible!

SwiftKey keeps crashing and no longer works when i click on any Fields after the fact I have to restart my phone to make it run again and thats only temporary it will force close about 3-4 times a week it's quite frustrating

DROID X, Liberty ROM v3. 100% repeatable. Btep and android terminal crash immediately upon launch when SwiftKey is enabled. Does not happen with the stock Android keyboard. However, it also didn't happen with my stock ROM, so I am not sure how much you can help. Really love SwiftKey and my new ROM, and would hate to have to ditch either one. Btw, the error occurs on line 1651.

I have used swiftkey for about 1 year now and after the latest major update it started crashing all the time. Right now the program is unusable because it crashes every time I try to use it. Im using a galaxy nexus with the 4.0.2 update. Do you guys already know about this? Im hoping for a fast fixs since your program works so well and because ive payd money for it..

As soon as I open Better Terminal Emulator Pro or the Android Terminal Emulator with SwiftKey 3 enabled, the terminal apps FC with StringIndexOutOfBounds, line 1651. When I switch back to the standard keyboard, this doesn't happen.

Droid X, Liberty 2.0. This didn't happen with the the stock ROM, so I'm not sure there's much you can do to help, but I'm tossing out there hoping there might be a simple fix.
