I am using a Galaxy Nexus, after using Jelly Bean, my swift key has certain words it defaults to that have capital letters. For example I type "page" in the middle of a sentence and it changes it to "Page". If I add an "s" it goes back to "pages". I long press on the word, it removes it. Go back in, it is back again. The word "site" does the same thing, changes to "Site". "web" to "Web".

I have uninstalled, then re-installed SK. I'm using the latest version from Google play. I've also completely did a device wipe and fresh OS install from a ROM.

When ever i press shift or the Alt key once it locked into shift/alt mode instead of just for the button pressed and than changing back. It also stays on if i press the shift/alt key once more.
It takes a few tries to be able to type normally but messes up again when shift/alt is used. And if backspace is pressed when the ALT is stuck it deletes everything that was typed.

I have seen this issue on multiple phones with physical keyboards as reported in this area and this issue was not present before the last update.

This greatly slows down my typing instead of speeding it up like this program is suppose to do. Swift X has to be disabled on my phone until this issue is fixed or i risk great slowdown and losing everything i typed.

I would like to report two bugs about SwiftKey and browser:

1. When surfing internet with browser and want to fill some web input forms, e.g. post comments on Facebook, login Paypal to pay bills. SwiftKey seems not working anymore. The text input never show text which I type. I did some digging and find following steps to reproduce this issue:

a. Open a web page with many input box
b. Type random text in each input box, one by one
c. After several input box, suddenly, the text I typed never shows up. Then all following input box are not working. I need to restart browser to get recovered.
d. Device information is Samsung i9300 with stock ROM android 4.1.2
e. This can be reproduced on boat browser, one browser, xscope browser (100% reproducible). This cannot be reproduced on stock browser and dolphin browser.

This issue is really frustrating. And this issue is 100% reproducible. I also tried Swipy on my device. It totally works fine. If you guys want to collect log or something, I’m willing to help.

2. SwiftKey prediction does not work well with some browsers.

I use SwiftKey a lot, especially when browsing with android browsers. I found when I want to input something in browser, sometimes SwiftKey pops up with prediction bar, sometimes not.

So, I did a little digging and find some pattern. When I use android stock browser and dolphin browser, the prediction bar exists. When I use other browsers, e.g. boat browser, maxthon browser and one browser, the prediction bar never shows up. This is really annoying.

This issue is regarding handling Auto-capitalize feature with words, that has been added to the internal dictionary manually during Swiftkey keyboard usage.

So, when the word, that was added to the dictionary by user, it depends whether it was with capital first letter or not. When first letter was lowercase, then Swiftkey Keyboard handle it OK. But if first letter was Capital - then it will be predicted with first capital letter all the time, even in the middle of sentence.

In the fact, manually added words "Keyboard" and "keyboard" will be considered as different words (actually, like -unix do).

The solution is to add new words to the dictionary in lower-case only.
