Have a way hold backspace and delete entire word like swype.
I would really like it if swiftkey would delete the entire prediction just by holding down the backspace key for one second. This way was proved to be very useful and quick in swype. The worst part is we paid hefty $5 to get the keyboard and it still has flaws.

If you want swype use swype.
Swiftkey is not swype, and there is no point in emulating swype.If you want to delete the entire word, just swipe (not swYpe) from right to left over the keyboard and the word will disappear.
If you accidentally cause it to learn a mis-spelled word, long press that word when it next shows up in suggestions.
