customizable WEB domains
Whn entering an address in the ebbrowser you get .com as default domain suffix and when longpress the .com button you get the choises .net, .org, .gov and .tv.
I would like the be able to add/edit own domain suffix like .co.uk or .se
Jak se rodí kotě? Kotěním. Jak se rodí tele? Telením. A jak se rodí vůl?
Ad vc.com (most popular social network in ex ussr area, Russia, Ukrain, Kazachstan, etc) in personalization setings, coz in Russia we don't use Facebook, it's unpopular in Russia although People have acounts there they don't use it.
there is a Domain ending key at the Keyboard with '. com' or '. org' as Standard values. a personalization for e. q. germans with '. de', Standard value would be very nice.
for example if german is chosen change the .com button to .de or make it complete adjustable
Need a .co.uk shorcut,always has .com, never .co.uk
Hi, I've found a lack in Swiftkey. When using a browser, you can't select as web address suffix .IT (it is only allowed to use ".COM" (default key), ".ORG", ".Net", ".TV"). I'm An Italian user. Please solve it in an upcoming release. Thanks
Suppost I have multiple languages enabled (UK English, Czech, Slovak). Please, add .co.uk, .cz, .sk domains to domain suffix shortcut key (right to space key) when entering URL. So in general you would add domain suffixes of countries where enabled languages are spoken.
the keyboard shows for URL entry the ".com" extension. The popup menu shows only .org .tv etc.
Please add the extension depending on the selected language (i.e. for german ".de")
I am from Slovakia, and use .Sk button more than. Com or. Org
Add .co.uk shortcut for entering email and Web addesses
For now, only some extensions are allowed to choose from. Why is it not possible to set your own (local) default?
Hi,
Make it possible to change the look of a certain keypad, like change .com into. se
Thanks
joakim
Keys for making it easier to type Web addresses or emails. So as not to have to type it all out.
As above.
When you are typing a web adress you get a fixed key with .com and you can longpress to get other options. But if you for example have swedish layout it would be much better to have .se ays a fixed key or atleast to have it as an option when you longpress. Also having .nu as an option with swedish layout would be great.
on the keyboard to your browser, to the right of the key space is down to options .com .net .org. I wish they could be customized with a es. fr. .de etc depending on your country.
Although I rarely use the TLD button on the URL keyboard (see other suggestion), I think that when I do use it it would be handy for it to be set to other TLDs by default.
Living in the UK the majority of the websites I want to go to (by typing and not from favourites) are. Co.uk addresses. It would be helpful if I could perminantly change the tld button to default to a tld of my choice. I know I can press and hold, but I can usually type faster that it works. I also know I can change that time delay, but the time delay is perfect for the rest of the buttons.
Enable customization of the long press .com and @... options. This would be helpful for students and workers who need to navigate their school or company's website. Also for typing emails to othersr in that school or company.
Currently, the TLD key used in URL fields offers .com, with 3 other TLDs. I would like more flexibility there.
One idea could be adding the country TLD via the language pack, so if I have e.g. German installed, I get the option to choose .de via this key. Or you could let the user enter own preferences via the configuration setup.
Something similar is bugging me with the @key in email address fields - the options offered there are of little use to me. In Germany, we have @googlemail.com, not @gmail.com - being able to set preferred @ maildomians would be most welcome.
Thanks! :-)
Please replace the ".TV" domain choice with ".EDU"
Thank you.
It would have been nice if it was possible to modify the list of URL-endings, such as .com, .org etc to get our national ending :)
On input of a URL let the User customize if .com button or another tld like de for germany or other location is displayed. Include more or custom options in long press of the Button.
It would save a lot of time to all users from elsewhere than U. S. to be able to customize domain button in web mode - default domain and also list of domains after long press (like it is in HTC_imemod keyboard)
When writing an email adress or domain there are suggested different dot - endings by longpressing the @ type. Unfortunately there is not one useful for me. Make the suggestions modifiable, so users can enter their personally often used endings or own email adresses.
Enable. Com key personalization (example, add. Co. Il,. It.. ) and make him always visible.
See smart keyboard pro.
Hi
There should be a way to change the (dot)com key to what the user wants.
Regards
Frode
SwiftKey X should learn email address domains and add them to the @ key, as these can very quickly become repetitive.
It would be great if i could use instead of ".com" a ".de" key for german sites!
There are many questions about that in german discussion sites.
Long-pressing the @ key gives Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail option. It would be super convenient to add another option, let's say for my work domain.
Few of the urls i type in end with .com, so id like to be able to reconfigure this to .co.uk with a long press to show a configurable list.
the domains listed behind the @... (gmail.com, hotmail.com and yahoo.com) are not much use to me i would like to replace them with my own list of domains
Can you add the UK Internet address could add the. Co.uk for searching. Websites and sending emails on the SwiftKey X Keypad. Thanks!!
Add swipe support and key customization so that a person could move keys alternative choices (long press) also if they could create a button to add domains like... .net .edu etc
As I live in DK it would be nice to have the .dk button, when i longpress the .com key. I never use the .gov or .tv button, so they are just plain useless to me.
Please add ".de" to the domain key or make it configurable!
It would be nice if the ".com" button was customized depending on language pack installed.
For instance, if I have the Swedish language pack installed ".se" is a given top-domain that should be added.
But I would also like to see other common top-domains used in that language.
For example, ".nu" is a common top-domain in Sweden because "nu" is the Swedish word for "now".
The option of manually edit the top-domains for the button would also be a great feature.
I don't need gmail.com, yahoo.com.
I need googlemail.com, hotmail.de...
Please let user configure the button with individual email addresses!
When entering e-mail addresses the space bar changes to a @... option to automatically append "popular" mail providers. Currently that includes @gmail.com, @hotmail.com and @yahoo.com. I would like to be able to edit that list to include entries that work better for me. I almost never deal with anyone with a hotmail account these days but do write to work people all the time and other domains.
change the @.... Button domains
The domain for in browser mode depending to the language setting
Allow us to add in our own email address domains when you long-press @
When holding the .com-key, a list of options is shown. User should be able edit values, eg. add .dk
Please let me choose the internet extention (now .com is default) I use the most to be the default. Otherwise SwiftKey rules!
I think you should be able to add to
the @ list for email addresses, so I can add my own personal email ending
Allow more than the current 4 domain extensions - I could do with .co.uk for a start, but if you allowed 8 and made them customisable, that'd be perfect!
Currently, if you long press the "@..." button when entering an email, you get a popup suggesting @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc. I would like to be able to customize this list from the options menu. For example, if I am frequently entering in email addresses from people in my company, I would like to be able to have @mycompany.com in the popup list.
Similarly, it would be nice to be able to customize the ".com" button to have frequently used TLDs (for example, if I am a US user who often browses Japanese sites, I could add .co.jp).

This is insane that after all this time it's not implemented. I don't care about @yahoo.com!

I'd like to add .ca too. If we can't add additional domains, even modifying the ones that are there would be good (i.e. I have never used .tv and rarely use .gov, so I could replace one with .ca and the other with .co.uk).

Works on iOS keyboard. Why not on Swiftkey? This was the main feature I was looking for when I bought Swiftkey.

The idea is simple, to add as default national domain suffixes of dictionaries currently installed.

PS. i just upgraded my phone from a desire HD running android 2.3.5 to the brand new HTC One running 4.1.2, on which I have STILL installed Swiftkey in preference to the now much improved HTC keyboard, but PLEASE add domain customisation, or at least add .co.uk ........

Agree, this is ridiculous! It's been like this for YEARS. If you're going to develop an international application, you need to understand an international audience. The very idea that you think most people will use .org or .gov (both US-specific) more than their local domain extensions shows a complete lack of respect or understanding for your users.

This one is obvious. I'm a diehard swiftkey fan, have recommended to literally hundreds of friends and family, but this added functionality would be a real selling feature when I'm showing it off.

I need the option to add new Top Level Domains the .COM button; .co.uk for example.
It's pretty pointless being there otherwise and I may as well type the whole URI into address bars as I've already got that far and then stop to check the .COM button only find the TLD I want isn't listed. Pointless.

Tom, the devs of SK are blinded by their own chrome and bling they add to the app. Important, viable, do-able suggestions like this are routinely and persistently ignored.

Didn't make the newest upgrade. How not? Blind developers. This is an obvious improvement to the keyboard. The long press of the @symbol is completely useless for me.

This is a very good idea and an obvious improvement. I was actually surprised not to find a setting for it before googling and finding this. But since it was posted back in june 2011 and still no fix or comment I guess there is not much hope?

I really miss this feature. Please make it full customizable. Should not be too much work and would increase user experience for non US customers so much!
