How can we improve SwiftKey?

Add an option to remove the text box that comes up in landscape mode, So we can see what we are typing into

Currently if you put the keyboard into landscape, you get a large white text box above the keyboard. This means you can't see the fields you are typing into, select new fields, or see any formatting without switching back to portrait mode.
Go Keyboard lets you do it, it's a common feature for iOS devices, I already have key height at small, makes no difference to the text box.

        I'll add my vote for this. I am unable to use Swiftkey to log in to forums with this "feature". After selecting the login field and entering my user name when I press "go" (or the check on the keyboard) the entire form is submitted before I have a chance to enter a password. I had to switch back to the stock keyboard. At least, thanks to the above comment, I now know that this is dependent on being in landscape mode.

        Commenting as another happy customer EXCEPT for this issue.

        There really is no reason not to add a toggle for this in the settings... Such a simple feature would make a lot of people happy.

        This is taking way too long. Due to this problem I can't chat in landscape with any program would it be Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Google Messenger and so. I even have a special app installed that the messenger apps don't go in landscape mode because of this stupid box thing.

        Seriously? This is still under review? With 1080p big screen becoming a norm, this full screen text box crap is totally unbearable. It was necessary when screen was tiny with HVGA resolutions, but full screen text box on a HD screen is a total waste of screen real estate.

        huh at last i find an answer... so the fact that on landscape mode the keyboard takes ALL the screen space is actually how its supposed to work!!!

        i was looking for a solution for this... but it seems to be how its supposed to work :/ to bad because everything else on this rocks!

        Please! Fix that of the landscape about! It is so much annoying that box! And separate the keyboard in the middle as gokeyboard does on landscape mode!

        Hi Sarah Reynolds, are you still having this under review?
        In my opinion, this should not be a feature request, because it's a bug. In portrait mode the text input us just as big as the underlying app it telling it to be. In Landscape it fills the screen and hides the underlying app.
        Your remark (Thanks for letting us know that ......) makes me think you don't really get the point of this request/bug (sorry for this rudeness when I'm wrong here).

        I've switched back to the stock Jelly Bean keyboard solely because of this.
