An option to use swiftkey predictions everywhere in every app including a web searches
The old swiftkey predictions work in almost every app except web searches. The new swiftkey beta predictions do not work in a lot of apps. I would like to have the option to use the predictions everywhere :-)
The predicted words don't currently show in all situations when entering text in text fields, such as in Google search. Please fix this.
Like in this very box im typing in tgeres no predictions var above tge keyboard for sone reason. Happens from time to tine and is very annoying. It should always be tgere thsts why i use tgis keyboard.
I would use prediction typing 99.9 percent of the time.
When commenting on a post on Facebook Mobile website, predictive text does not function or it does not allow you to type at all.
The predictive text does not work in certain fields after the update provided by Sprint
My predictions have stopped showing up in certain things with Swiftkey 3. They no longer show up when typing a URL in the browser, a search in google (also in browser), when searching the Play Store, when using navigation, when using the Youtube app, and I'm sure I'll find many other instances where it's not working. I deleted and reinstalled Swiftkey and redownloaded the language pack and it didn't fix it. I am running 4.04 on my AT&T HTC One X. I have the latest paid version of Swiftkey.
I'd like it always on. Or be able to choose when it's on in options or have a togle button. I search in browser address bar and it not being on then sucks
While using 'FreeNote, note everything' app, when i try to type, the predictions are not coming up in the top.How to get the predictions coming up?
The predictions are not available always on galaxy note specially when using dolphin browser.
Even while typing this post, I can't see predictions on the first box (header) but can see the predictions on this main box
Problem is that predictions will not show up in some apps or while writing to some kind of fields. So it could be interesting to have an option to force predictions to always show up, no matter what app you are using or what kind of field you are writing in. And maybe a quick button to show /disable predictions.
All 3 prediction boxes missing when I type in the search box when on the Internet on Google search pages. In this message box they do show up a ove the keyboard.
ConnectBot is the app I want to have predictions but it was never working
Bonjour, sur HTC désire HD je n'avais pas ce soucis, mais sur le galaxy S3 si. Sur internet ou sur des forums je n'ai pas la prédiction des mots. Savez vous pourquoi? Merci.

Predictions are not shown:
-using Unified Remote, Keyboard remote (but there are shown in the Send Text remote)
-in a conversation of ooVoo
-in the address/url bar in Android Browser
-in the search (hard/soft android button) using the Browser, Text messages, Music (Android player), Contacts (using the built in search bar gives predictions), Gmail, Maps, Calendar
The prediction bar would not appear when we are typing on a search engine such as Google or anything that gives suggestions.
Hi. There is a bug when entering text in, say, Google search bar or in the browser where predictions or suggestions are not shown at all. Also, right now I am typing from a keyboard whose keys don't have symbols engraved on them (for example, Q's symbol is 1, a is @,w is 2, etc.) I, however, am able to long press on the letters and the symbol will come up. I just have to guess where it is, though!
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S2 running on Ice Cream S. When using Chrome and the integrated navigator, in the research omnibox, Swiftkey do not gives me suggestions ( he does for SMS...) I dont know if it is normal
I cannot see any reason why SwiftKey should not still provide its suggestions, even when a web form is using auto complete. They do not conflict AFAICS. The user would be never be worse off (he can ignore SwiftKey's suggestions and continue typing in full until able to select one of the form's choices), and in nearly every case SwiftKey would provide suggested words from the user's context, which would usually be much better than what the web form is suggesting.
Force enable the predictive keyboard. Ini certain text fields, I guess, the app developer has decided that the keyboard should not try predict what I want to write. Sometimes I don't agree with that decision (e.g., in a field where I enter my phone number which seems to be a quite common example). Let me override the developer choice of keyboard.
Great application only problem for me is I rely on predictive text alot on certain paps as well as on the browser I cannot use predictive text it just is not there.. Itwiuld be great interest was a switchover button we could press to use predictions on Internet or other applicable we want to
It is unable to show predictions in certain cases eg Android Market search. This would be a great help because now I have to change back to type smart
Predictions/autocorrect does not work (in this box for example) makes keyboard hard to use in many circumstances
It would be great if SwiftKey could add the option to keep prediction enabled at all times, like the MultiLing keyboard has. I find that a lot of apps turn SwiftKey's prediction bar off, even when the types of things I would be expected to type into the fields are words, for which it would be greatly helpful to have prediction turned on.
Predictions don't appear on every screen, e.g. the market search screen... I would love to be able to force predictions to always appear!
Could you guys make it so the suggestion box is always availible? And when inputting email addresses turn off auto space.. thanks
Apps like Google +, and other browser tablet functions don't have the predictions bar. You really realize how valuable that bar is when you have to go without it.
Please try to make swift key the same in the web url field as no predictions come up when I type
New contact name vorname
In Android, some fields disable the prediction feature on the keyboard. This is fine sometimes like in market search where search terms aren't always real words. But, it would be nice to have an option to enable predictions regardless of the field type.
For many apps and text fields, Swiftkey doesn't display the predictions. E.g. the android Market, search from the android home page, search in the default browser. Some fields (e.g. number entry) make sense, but even there I would like the option of seeing predictions.
Better Keyboard is an app that does this well, displaying predictions/corrections almost everywhere. If you could match the better prediction algorithm of Swiftkey with the available everywhere functionality ala Better Keyboard, then this app would be fantastic. Right now it's virtually crippled by not being available in some of the most commonly used situations.
SwiftKey 4 now has predictions in many more places.
Predictions are switched on everywhere except:
“To:” fields in emails
in apps with code that clashes with SwiftKey predictions
If you previously purchased SwiftKey 3, SwiftKey 4 is a free upgrade. If you haven’t yet purchased SwiftKey it is on sale at 50% off for 1 week. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey
Please reopen this bug. Until it is working EVERYWHERE the bug is not fixed and should not considered "completed"

It appears Swiftkey has been largely abandoned. It still has the best predictions when it works.
I'm glad I now use the Samsung Galaxy Note II with the Samsung keyboard which is way better than Swiftkey. I read it uses the swiftkey prediction engine but it has predictions everywhere unlike swiftkey and also has many other useful features lacking in Swiftkey.
There are no prediction and no flow on swiftkey 4 (188.8.131.52) on stock samsung caleder app on all text fields when adding a new appointment or a new task.
Why other swiping apps are able here to swipe and predict words, but swiftkey ?
swipe is working here and samsung keyboard is working too.
Why are you disable it on such on these text-fields.
that is really annoying
I have a samsung galaxy s2 and I cleared my cache a month back or so and ever since then SwiftKey doesn't save any of the words I select no matter how many times I choose them.
No predictions in KingsoftOffice - are you working on that problem and expect a solution or do you recommend that I delete either Kingsoft or SwiftKey rightaway?
Swift key says that predictions are not available and to check SD card. It also says that I have no SD card. Yes i do. Please help.
"everywhere" means EVERYWHERE. my number one problem that i can't flow everywhere.
Previous comment that predictions don't work with "code that clashes with SwiftKey predictions" seems to miss the point that other apps, that were getting predictions, now are not with the new version of SwiftKey.
That certainly sounds like SwiftKey has much more work
to do with current version.
I went back to previous version and will try alternative apps.
No predictions or flow in kingsoft office, which means I can't use this program, or use swipe or slide–it instead.
How do you turn off predictions

SwiftKey is not predicting in the application Kingsoft office. Did you experience the same?
I go the update for swiftkey flow and now it is not predicting contacts when I text like it used to. I have to input the contacts phone number then the name shows. This isn't very convenient as I am not able to remember everyone's phone number. How can I fix this?
It's a miracle! After more than a year in asking for the program to allow predictions in something as simple as Google's search, you have finally allowed predictions in most fields! I don't get why you disallow it in the To: fields, as it would be nice to have if you send a lot of emails and are using a program that doesn't have auto-prediction. Thank you for FINALLY coming back around and listening to your end users and not just your own personal vanity about what you think is right for all of us.
I believe that what is needed is not "predictions/flow always on" but some simple and quick way way of the user turning predicitons/flow on or off. On my Galaxy Note I find that prediction/flow seems to be off when I use Kingston Office or my text editor (Vim touch) but on when I use the messaging application. In all cases I would prefer to explicitly turn it on or off appropriate to the content I am typing at the time.
I am having a problem with the Notes application on an HTC One X+ running android 4.1.1, Sense 4+. The predictions work for the title field, but not the body of the note (exact opposite of desired behavior). Can a change be made to allow in this application? It worked in the SwiftKey Flow Beta, not sure what changed upon upgrading to 4. Alternatively, as many others have suggested, please add an option to force predictions everywhere. Thanks!
Oh my god.
Sarah: Read the suggestion.
"I would like to have the option to use the predictions everywhere :-)"
How hard is that?
This is not a complex idea. He (we) just want the regular completions *everywhere*, or perhaps the option to switch predictions on and off.
How can you mark the suggestion completed, when you have completely ignored the core of the suggestion?

Sarah, should we file a separate suggestion to ask for it explicitly, or these two already do the job?
Predictions doesn't show when using Samsung S Note.

I gotta flow everywhere please!!!

I love SwiftKey.. But I get frustrated because it turns off predictions on websites like Facebook.. It is great for texting.. A real time saver.. Thanks for a great keyboard experience!
