Both Tapping n swipe options should be available

Right now there isn't any swiping. My phone specifically has this feature. It would be a nice addition.

It would be an exciting product to have the swiping over the keyboard. This allows for one handed "typing" as compared to two hands to type, ie one hand to hold the phone & the other hand to type.

I think SwiftKey is great. But I'm not a big fan of tapping individual letters on a keyboard. I type significantly faster using swype. This option would definitely be a wonderful addition to SwiftKey!

Hello, i am from Germany and bought a new smsung galaxy s 3. After installing swift key i wanted to "swipe" but its not going. Swiping is a writing syle u can use it with lines u make witu your finger. All new handys have this option but swift key not ?!

Being able to spell a word without lifting my finger would be more efficient and would make typing with one hand easier.

I have been using Android smartphones since the very beginning of the os, and the keyboard input that is by far the best is the swipe method. The problem I am facing with my current device is that it is highly inaccurate in choosing the correct words based on the pattern I have traced. PLEASE add this feature, I beg you!! I truly despise tap entry!

Having used Swype for the past three years, your keyboards intelligence is fantastic. That said, it is much quicker to Swype than to type and you can do it one handed. Adding a Swype option, keeping the layout of the keyboard and the quick punctuation and everything, but being able to Swype out words would bring me back to your keyboard. I hate Swype, it's just to quick and convenient, even going back to correct words. Kids want to type quickly, would cater to a lot of peerless needs and a young audience.

I like swype type. I won't purchase without trace feature.

On the old HTC input you can drag your finger on the keyboard and it will spell the word. It is so much easier for typing one handed

SlideIT is significantly faster for typing but not as good at the language model. Try combining the two.

Sliding to spell would be very helpful. I have found it to be a fast way of "typing" and it could still predict words. I believe it is a function that could be optional but one that many, if not most, people would use.

I like the space forget thing but swype is smoother.... Combine the two and it's perfect

The swype feature really enhances typing speed. The word prediction capabilities is excellent. Combining both the feature will enhance the application.

I know there are some words that are easier to swipe than tap. If there were an option to swipe and tap at the same time that would be great too.

Put an option to users a swype function like the one that the Galaxy Note default keyboard.. Or you can could make the keyboard sense of that the stylus is being used and act ate the swype function.

Backspace button take forever to delete the whole sentence and should have where you can hold and delete the whole message completely in seconds...... Also to make texting more faster should install a swype on the keyboard.

It's imparitive that you allow swiping, literally its going to depend on swiftkeys future. Only thing stopping me from using it.

Swype is great for using one hand and for long words. Adding this over the already amazing keyboard would truly make this the ultimate input method.

What could work well is a type of wipe function, like the one used in swype, which allows you to just wipe your finger over the letters, without having to type.

You guys should add gesture typing like Swype. You can add a shortcut key to switch to the gestures so people can still use the gestures for deleting words and such. I think that the prediction algorithm would compliment something like that very well.

Similar to Swype/GO/SlideIT, it would be eally nice if the pest keyboard at word prediction had key sliding input, at very least in portrait mode.

Needs an option to enable tracing. Keyboards like Touchpal and Ultra Keyboard are not even close to SwiftKey but I really love that they have "tracing." SwiftKey would be the absolute perfect keyboard if this could be added

If there are large words it would be a lot faster. Especially if you're using one hand.

Swiping to write instead of tapping. It saves fatigue, less risk of rsi (seriously) and more fun. Especially as phones aren't just used for occasional texts now.

I use SwiftKey keyboard all the time. But what other keyboards such as TouchPal, and Go Keyboard offer is swype capability. I feel if SwiftKey could incorporate swype to its platform it would be hands down the greatest keyboard on the market!

I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this, but adding tracing capabilities would be awesome. TouchPal Curve has been getting a lot of attention on the internet today. They're basically doing what you guys do, with a trace keyboard added in.

If you can come out with a cool trace keyboard first, I would rather stick with you guys.

A friend was telling me how great the app is, so I tried it. It took me way too long to realize that despite the sensitivity setting that sounded right, this app is tap-type only, which I rarely use.

This keyboard has amazing predictions, but I prefer Swype. Please add this feature!

Please enable swipe typing like on the android keyboard. So instead of trying to pinpoint each key, you can continuously swipe your finger across the keyboard for even faster typing and more accuracy.

It be great to be able to swipe.

The strength of SwiftKey is the way the proper word is predicted, dramatically increasing the speed of text entry.
My problem is that I hit the wrong first letter more often than not. That really slows me down.

Swyping is easier since it isn't as important to exactly hit the right key....then you just move the finger to the next key. You don't even have to hit it exactly. So I reluctantly uninstalled SwiftKey. Hope you'll give the merger with SWPE some thought.

Now if SwifKey merged with SWYPE, we'd have the best of both worlds.
That's the strength of their program.

I would really like to be able to slide to letters in a word as well as tapping them. For instance: in typing the word "has" you tap all three letters, what i would like to be able o do is to tap the "h" and then slide from the "a" to the "s." This would be much more efficient for typing on a touch screen phone since the letters are close by each other. This is the way I feel a touch screen keyboard should work. Basically so I dont have to pick up my finger to tap the letter, I can just slide across to it if its close by. I really dont understand why this hasn't been implemented yet, the technologies for slide keyboards and tap keyboards are both there... why not integrate them?

Allow the use of "swipe" as in sliding his/ her finger from letter to letter and formatting the words respectively. Rather than having to type each letter.

It will be great if I can swipe words too!
