SwiftKey 4.1 has three new themes: Pitch, Dusk, and Regal.
Please do keep adding comments to let us know what kind of themes you’d like to see.
Thanks.

It would be great if you offered an open source API for making themes. it would be a real hit with the android theme community.

Please consider dividing "Theme" into "Style" & "Text Color" choices.
Instead of the current limited method of picking one "Theme" that puts the style and button text, symbol, or punctuation color into a choice that the user may not really care for one or the other of, please consider dividing "Theme" into "Style" & "Text Color" choices. This would allow for specific button style & color customization. Taking away the limitation of the user selecting a "packaged deal", so to speak, would be a simple enhancement that would be easy to implement, and probably much appreciated by your loyal customer base.

Appearance of SHIFT key should change more obviously
The appearance of the shift key is no different in lowercase and uppercase, it only changes when locked on all caps (and this difference is too subtle in "dark" and "neon" themes). i waste time looking back & forth between the shift key and the rest of the keyboard to see if shift key is on, off or locked. It would be nice if there was a more obvious difference between the 3 shift key positions (a different color for each postion?).

Transparency setting as % to allow you to see background while you type
A transparency setting would be very useful that would allow me to see the background while I type. The problem I have is that my display is fairly small and SwiftKey takes up most of the screen.

Put letters at top of keys
The letters on the keys are two low. Swap the letter and symbol position on the keyboard so letters appear above my finger, and not below.
I have to force myself to press high on each key to not get the letter below.
This change should just be a simple theme.

A theme where the letters sit right in the middle of the key.
A theme where the letters sit right in the middle of the key. With the letters sitting at the bottom in the current themes, I often hit the key below the one I intended to hit.

Enable use of 3rd party themes.
Allow compatibly for 3rd party theming apps so that developers can create their own themes that are usable with Swiftkey,

Create more themes or develop theme maker
Create a program to build personal theme would be amazing. Or a gallery for people to develop themes to sell

Add soem padding around the keyboard
I'd love to have a little padding around the whole keyboard (especially left and right), because it's often hard to press a key on the edge of the keyboard when my phone is in the carkit or docking station (which has a bevelled edge).

Use theme colors for voice input confirmation instead of gray on gray
It's hard to read the three choices that show up after voice input because they use light gray on dark gray. What if they used the theme colors instead?
