I recently upgraded to the paid version of SwiftKey and I love it! Good job guys! My ONLY criticism is the inability to see the actual emoticons, as others have stated. I have downloaded an emoticon app. but switching to it isn't very efficient. I would love it if you could make this change!

Blackberry smileys do not have noses! :) rather than :-) would like to see compatability as I have lots of BB contacts. Maybe an option to switch or dual compatibility.

I agree!! Swiftkey is let down by the omision of graphical emoticons. Come on developers 99% there...

For all the people that don't know, if you want emoji icons all you need 2 do is install a custom rom, (plus tons of more options), so you don't even need Swift key to have the option

yeah, my friends don't understand why I use very few. If you could provide a legend here, that would be better than nothing. On my phone I don't get to see what they look like until after I send, so guessing on some might get undesired results. It would be nice to know what they look like.

Please note that this risks warring with other software over emoticon rendering. For example, Skype already turns emoticons into its own graphical versions.
When using Skype I would want to see the Skype emoticons that everyone else sees, not the SwiftKey ones.

Agreed, it would be much better than seeing after the text was sent that you sent the right one.

I'm an old guy with bad memory, so listing the emoticons graphically would certainly be my choice. Very nice software.
