The only smart phone keyboard I can find so far that includes Japanese input is the GO Keyboard. I would very much like to use Smart Key but I need a way of being able to type in Japanese on my phone.

Some people needs to use more than three language. In my case, I need to write in Japanese. But there's no Japanese in the program. This will make go to setting and change the program. It is not making the writing easy for me. That's why I am asking from the maker please add Japanese language into this wonderful program. Thanks anyway.

I have a separate Japanese keyboard that I have to switch to every time I want to type in Japanese. It would be great to just stay in SwiftKey and be able to just switch without going thru "change input method" every time. Thanks!

I would definitely use SwiftKey if there was a Japanese option. For now I am stuck with GoKeyboard (which is also good, just not predictive)

Japanese is really a must! It's really ridicilous that Swiftkey doesn't support japanese. Wanted to buy either Swiftkey or Swype. Swift doesn't support Japanese -> instant uninstall. Glad that Swype takes my money cause they know WHICH languages are really IMPORTANT!

Regretting buying the full version without 日本語. Seriously, SwiftKey, are you trying to NOT make money? How can you not have support for Japanese or Chinese? Just utterly foolish... But hey, Swype is happy to take my money.

Well, been using Swype as it supports both, and I am beginning to get used to it.
I may just honestly uninstall and use that instead, as I am beginning to doubt if you are even trying to add Japanese support. -

Been patiently waiting for 2 years. Keen to get back onto SwiftKey. It still works the best. But no Japanese means it's useless to me. Am using Google IME since Go Keyboard interferes with other apps.

Love this app.... BUT..... why on earth the Japanese is not part of it???
I will probably have to uninstall the app as I am tired switching back and forth with the default keyboard....

I just installed Swype keyboard on android because I was tired of switching between SwiftKey keyboard and Japanese google keyboard. Although I really liked SwiftKey keyboard interface and everything, I had to move on. I hope you will add Japanese soon to your available languages.
